For many people, fall signals the return of pumpkin spice lattes. At RNL this year, it meant Design2Thrive season… and if you wanted to BYO pumpkin spice latte, that was cool by us.
We typically run this now-annual event in the summer, but it is a big year for us, so this year’s Design2Thrive event actually spanned two months, taking us into fall. It included fitness and design challenges and two solid weeks of presentations that ended on the day the entire RNL family came together in Denver for a once-in-a-decade anniversary celebration.
We had something for everyone this year, from healthy lifestyle choices to healthy materials, sculptural solar PVs to wall details that meet the passive house standard. The lineup exemplified the range and scope of our 12 Design2Thrive principles, and our commitment to expanding the conversation around sustainability far beyond its traditional definition.
Over the next week or two, we’ll be going through some of the educational highlights of Design2Thrive 2016, and providing you with some of the awesome resources and key takeaways our team got through this year’s event. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, here are a couple of snaps from the events.
