Our big birthday this year has us reflecting on what we’ve accomplished over the last 60 years and looking forward to the next 60. Leading up to our big day on Sept. 9, we wanted to share a little of that reflection and excitement, starting with how RNL came to be and how we got our name.
RNL was formed in 1956 by John Rodgers, Jerry Nagel and Victor Langhart (R.N.L). They envisioned a full-service architecture firm with the ability to provide the full range of planning, design and engineering services needed to complete projects.
Our founders had a big influence on guiding our values and our commitment to providing exceptional service. They were pioneers with a passion for creating beautiful places and spaces that served our clients and communities, and respected the environment.
Today, RNL is an award-winning international architecture, planning and design firm specializing in sustainable, integrated design. We offer a continuum of design services, including architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, lighting design, urban design and sustainable design.
Today, guided by the vision of our founders, RNL brings a holistic perspective to our design, architecture and planning work that allows us to come up with truly impactful solutions for our clients and communities.
If you ask us, 60 feels pretty good.
